Invite someone else to draw in your planner...

The prompt at The Documented Life project was to have someone else draw in your planner, and then add to it. This is my mom looking at my planner.
Mom might draw something once a year, and yesterday she picked up a pencil and drew this terrific chair in my planner. I'm tempted to just leave it as is, but the assignment was to add to it, so I guess I will.
So I added a palm, and a rug, and colored it all in, and called it good! Mom's drawing was great, so I don't need to do much. This chair is in their living room. If you flip the chair tag out, the drawing of a praying mantis is underneath.
The planner page opposite has a background of happy mail paper, and also flowers clipped from happy mail, a bit of gelli printed paper, and a butterfly cut from a magazine page and colored in.

I thought this was such a fun idea for a prompts. Haven't decided if I'm going to play along or not, but enjoying seeing what everyone is doing. I kept seeing postings from my friend Terri Kahrs and finally decided to look into it. I'm doing Life Book 2014 which is a year long course. Having lots of fun with it.

I'm glad you joined our group. Maybe sometimes the prompts will overlap you will see one that makes you want to use it. Terri is an amazing artist. I'm trying to learn from her videos and just bought those pencils she is so crazy about...Inktense. I tried them last night, and I love the colors!
