Shop Route 66 Mural: Illinois and California

Last spring, we started putting up the border mural at the Home Again on Route 66 gift shop. I've been painting this in sections on plywood, and then it's hung around the top of the main room of the shop. This section is the beginning and end of Route 66...so they meet right over the cash wrap. I have the Arizona section almost ready to go up on the north wall. 
 

Here are some photos of it in progress. I sketched this out in pencil first, and then outlined and started painting. 

Greta and Jeff were keeping me company. While I was painting this we were also painting the room it would eventually hang in.
