September 11

I drew this yesterday, but did not get it painted until today. Drawing it was interesting, because I really don't know how I look from the back.

Everyone in my grandparents' day remembered exactly what happened the day Pearl Harbor was attacked, and 9/11 is like that for the current generations. I think it must have been Good Morning America as that is my usual morning show, but I am not entirely sure about that--I was glued to the scenes playing out behind the newspeople. Like most Americans I could not believe what was happening.

My heart goes out to all who lost loved ones that day.
