Blind Contour Friday

Here is my favorite spot to sit (inside). We busted out a wall between a tiny kitchen and a tiny family room...so now we have a big kitchen with a fireplace and a sofa. If the rest of the house fell down I could live in this one room! The computer desk is right behind the couch.

I love the footstool...that thing is great. all the buttons look awesome. I think its crazy how perspecitive seems to come a lot easier when we are not looking!

looks so fat and comfortable! I love the way you show the whole sketchbook on all your entries, in this one I love where the ottoman runs off to the second page!

I love sofas. One of my favorite artbooks is the Ikea catalog. Pages of sofas to draw and lamps and chairs. And this one looks so comfy.

You know you're right...the perspective is there even though I wasn't looking at the paper! Hmmmm...maybe I make the whole thing harder than it needs to be.

Janey, I never thought of the catalog..what a great idea!

I think it would be great to have a kitchen with a fireplace and sofa. It sounds so comfy! And your couch looks like mine! The instant I sit (or lay) down on it, I want to curl up under a blanket and go to sleep. I really like the blind contour of it. Nice work.

Julie, we must have the same couch! Got that sleeping pill effect!

What a big cushy couch -- the BC line really brings out its character

Thanks Karen!

Donnna, I am using a Moleskine. This is my first one and I love these little books. I hear they are coming out with one that is watercolor friendly...I hope they have it out when I am ready for a new one!
