EMC #11 Glasses and #4 Cup

Today I drew my sunglasses and my water cup:

What I learned: reflections are fun and hard! The way the light refracts and bends things really makes you look carefully. I'm not sure how that cup got so wonky, but somehow it does not bother me. Maybe I've had too much caffine today!

I like the cool palette you're using here. I also like the shape of the brushes crossed in the water and, really, the whole composition. Very strong work.

Great work on these...even if the glass is a little "wonky" I think you did a great job capturing the way the paintbrushes look in the water. Two more challenges down...you are on your way to catching up...I still need to catch up on a few myself. Thanks for the link to my blog.

You draw and use color well! I think we are all in this for the enjoyment of recording our days and along the way, our art gets better. Thanks for sharing your journey!

These are great! I also love how you captured the paintbrushes in the water and the way the shadows of the glasses frames are distorted through the lenses. Very good!

Those reflections are hard but kind of fun to draw around with lines. Thank you all for the encouraging comments.
