Flip Flop Flap

There maybe a flap about shoes in this house soon. You can't walk for tripping over shoes (I admit, some are mine). Anyway, couldn't decide what to do for blind contour friday--then I looked around and saw the shoe thing going on.

OH, this makes me just miss summer! I am not ready for the cold feet of winter. it seems like my feet never get warm in the winter. =(

I would say that has ALOT to do with it. (just got through with 3 teen girls ((and lots of shoes, hair and whatnot))!..and barely alive to tell about it). I have to admit...at least 3 or 4 pairs were mine. Anyway...great subject and bcdrawing!

Your drawing makes me miss the proliferation of shoes (teens all grown and gone!) So I can appreciate the old days through your art.

What I like best in this drawing is that it seems to have been done on found paper. I love my Molskine and will use it to draw anything {I've never considered it holier than thou} but when a drawing wants draw it needs to happen regardless of the available medium :)

And...shoes...oh yes, not to mention SOCKS.

Yes, sometimes the perfect thing to draw is right under your feet. :o) Great job. Oh...and thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving the supportive comments. I really appreciate it.

Thanks guys! Yup, I use my moleskine all the time too, but it was in the car at the time so.....I grabbed the nearest thing. I am starting to realize that all those sketch books I never drew in (because they are so nice-and maybe I'd draw something rotten) don't mean anything to me compared to this one I am filling up. Bad drawings as well as good ones.
