I tried this dish in Hawaii since it's a local favorite.
It's rice topped with 2 big hamburger patties and 2 fried eggs, smothered in gravy. To me, it sounds icky, and looks questionable, but it's really quite delicious! But it's huge...I think it would feed two people!
Hi Christie! No, we stopped at some little place for breakfast one day and I decided to give it a try. I think we had plate lunch at Cafe 100 though. Next time I'll have to try the loco moco there.
Great journal spreads. I've been so busy with jewelry making, sewing, and basically anything creative that I haven't been doing daily sketching pages. :( Wishing there were more hours in a day... my typical mantra hasn't changed much over the years. LOL Always running out of time. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving nice comments. I do appreciate you. :)))

Great page! The best loco is at Cafe 100 - have you been there? It's supposed to be where the dish originated.
