I walked in a different town yesterday because I went to visit my hubby who is working near Savanna, IL for a couple of weeks. Savanna is a river town....I love being by the water. I spent the day drawing and walking the hills in the Mississippi Palisades State Park, and then after supper I made this little drawing on a walk in Savanna.
When I get home from work I'll post the drawings from the park at Draw Daily.

Great to see where you live. You'ld be lucky to get a poky one bedroom apartment here for that price!
You can do this sort of shading so well - I have a block about it. Something I'll have to work on. Thanks for your comments on my blog - I was pretty surprised how amazingly the branches turned out today. This is a fun group - I hope we all make it through the year.
Lovely to see the historic architecture. There are only a couple of old buildings in my neighbourhood. Very nice sketch.
