Our Garage and B-ball Basket

One thing I have learned from Everyday Matters Group is that you don't have to have something "pretty" to make a drawing. So here is our garage...drawn on a chilly morning, and I drew in my nice warm car after taking the kids to school.

Everyday stuff is what memories are made of - and it's not always a pretty subject, but it's great to draw it anyway.

The colours in this are so nice and fresh. Sounds like a lovely place to live!

This is charming!!! My typical garage view would end up looking like an abstract with the door opened--lots of junk usually lurking in there. LOL But I cleaned it this week, so I'm really proud of the newly organized clean look... maybe I should open up that door and sketch away. At least I would have a log of a once-in-a-lifetime event. ha!

Oh, I have to confess...there is a terrible mess inside that garage. I need to do what Kathleen did and attack it and make order.

Joyce, This is fantastic! Your style, perspective, colours and textured lines make this everyday scene a lively artistic piece of work. I wish I was half as talented.
