Love this. It leaps off the moleskine at me and says welcome home. Are you daring watercolor on that not-watercolor paper, or how are you getting your colors?
Everyday stuff is what memories are made of - and it's not always a pretty subject, but it's great to draw it anyway.
The colours in this are so nice and fresh. Sounds like a lovely place to live!
This is charming!!! My typical garage view would end up looking like an abstract with the door opened--lots of junk usually lurking in there. LOL But I cleaned it this week, so I'm really proud of the newly organized clean look... maybe I should open up that door and sketch away. At least I would have a log of a once-in-a-lifetime event. ha!
Oh, I have to confess...there is a terrible mess inside that garage. I need to do what Kathleen did and attack it and make order.
Joyce, This is fantastic! Your style, perspective, colours and textured lines make this everyday scene a lively artistic piece of work. I wish I was half as talented.
Oh Clare, you are so talented...I find your journal very inspiring!
This has a GREAT welcome home/comfort food feel to it...I like this drawing...
