Adam and Eve

How could I do the theme "Boys and Girls" with out getting the first boy and girl in there? As anyone who comes here often knows, I avoid drawing the human figure...I have trouble with proportions and all, but I decided to give it a go. So here you have Adam and Eve, as best as I could make them for today. If I had it to do over, I'd give him a little muscle...maybe they have not started working the land yet?

Your figures are beautiful in this piece. I love your fluid lines and how you depicted their embrace.

Glad to meet another sketchbook project participant.

and thank you for the blog visit.

this is amazing! I think you don't have to draw the human figure exactly how it should look like (with right proportions etc) if you can create a strong painting like this! I love it :)

Nat, thank you so much. I've been to your blog, and you do beautiful figures! I'm thinking of doing a version of this on canvas.
