Pinky: EDM Challenge #6

This little gal is Pinky. She is a much well loved object and favorite childhood toy of my favorite 5 year old. We gave Pinky to our nephew on his first Christmas and I just love seeing how "well-loved" she is! She might actually end up a real mouse....just like the velveteen rabbit!

He is lovely...and he is getting that worn floppiness and nubby fur.

That is a fabulous drawing! I can feel the fuzziness and I love your lines.

This is adorable! As you say it's great to see them get used and loved, nothing more sad than a clean furry toy! My youngest was given a second hand teddy by my Mum, (bought in a second hand shop that just opened near her) I was a bit surprised but it turned out to be his all time favourite. I like to think 'Stripey' was given a second chance in life!

My daughter has a pinky too, only hers is an elephant. She is now 23 and when she was pregnant with her first, Pinky went to be with them. Our Pinky has been well loved as well. I found you via another blog. My blog is at http://donnasart.typepad.com/donnas_art/. Feel free to visit.

This is it! You didn't overdo the color, you kept it simple and beautiful. I love Pinky Dinky's pose. Looks a little exhausted -- you captured it well!
