Well, I
hope I'm creating a new habit here. Yesterday when I was running errands, I stopped and bought one of the tiny little Moleskines to use for my walks.
Today I walked to a nearby park. A local patron donated the park land and these iron sculptures. They are pretty cool, but also a little scary............they are huge and loom over you. I bet they are 18 feet tall. The playground equipment looks tiny in comparison.

Fantastic. Well done on getting out and what a great drawing.
Lovely drawing! (I wonder if these scare the kids?) I'm so glad you are joining in, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your great sketches! I recently bought a regular and small Moleskine and was thinking of your drawings while I tried them!
Isn't the internet a wonderful thing?! I'm walking with Julie, and she's in England. And Felicity was thinking of my drawings while drawing in Switzerland! For someone like me who does not travel alot, it's a great link to people in other places. I enjoy both your blogs so much.
I'm liking Julie's fitness idea more and more! The tiny Moleskine for the walk is such a great idea -- I may just have to join in! :-)
Yea Linda! Join us, the more the merrier!
Totally agree with your comments Joyce - I absolutely love being connected. (It's mind-blowing when you think of it!)I keep thinking how different my life would have been if I had e-mail when I was at school, maybe I wouldn't have lost touch with so many friends? Julie's idea is growing like a little seed in my mind. Nor sure if I can commit but I did a little sketch (on a bench) while waiting for the bus yesterday - MAJOR achievement for me!! There is so much to sketch near me, I'm determined to get over it!
This is such an expressive sculpture and a lovely drawing. Keep it up. I'm on Day 3 too.
