Ali and my baby, ColleenI was inpired by another blogger (I wish I could remember who!) to make a calendar for each month. This month was a great month until the end. One of my daughter's friends was killed in a car accident. She was 16 years old. Kiss your kids and tell people you love them....you never know what will happen. Lucky for Ali and all who knew her, she really lived like that in her short 16 years.

oh, wow, how very tragic. I just hate to hear that someone's child has been snatched from them so suddenly. Ali's parents must be reeling. Thank you for remembering her, and reminding us to treasure what's really important.
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear the news about your daughter's friend. It's hard on everyone who is even a little bit close when a teenager is so tragically lost.
Yes, it's been hard on the kids close to her, but also on kids who hardly knew her. They can just hardly believe that one of their own is gone.
Ali was a kid who was full of life and energy....always seemed to be reaching out to other kids. Ali's friends are drawing closer to each other and looking out for each other more than ever. They are finding alot of comfort in taking care of each other I think.
