I drew this at the lake...very quickly, because I was feeling guilty about not helping in the kitchen. I colored it after I got home. Those berries were good!!
When I returned home I read all the posts regarding challenges. Personally, I find them helpful. I am just drawing what is around me on a daily basis, and when I "draw" a blank on what to draw, I like having that list to spur me on. They are common everyday subjects and I enjoy seeing what various artists produce from the same simple suggestions.

Perfect blueberries in a perfect setting! Nicely done!
oh I like this alot, wonderful on the blue tablecloth and that bowl of berries is gorgeous, I love the pretty pattern on the bowl and it's scalloped edge and the shadings on the berries from pale to darker blue really make them pop out, yes indeed, yummy!
Yummy, yummy, gorgeous drawing.
I love how all the shapes lock together and I also love the soft, cool palette. Oh, and the pattern on the tablecloth. This one is SO nice.
Lovely blue colors! I just finished my cereal loaded with fresh blueberries. Yum. :)
One of my favorite fruits. I love this drawing. Did you do the watercolor on another paper and then glue it in your moleskine? Just wondering. Nice job on this challenge.
Hi Julie,
Yes I did this on a Canson watercolor block that is postcard size. Just glued it in when it dried. I try to remember to pack them if I think I will be watercoloring. They are making my moleskine a little fatter--but I try to think of that as just making it more interesting. LOL
wonderful painting - the red chair and blue pattern of the tablecloth are perfect. Thanks for visiting my blog. I'll be back here often.
Send over some Blueberries! Very nice..:O)
The colors added to your illustrations add such great dimension. The delicate lines of the wicker planter and shades of green are perfect.
I too love anitques which reminds me I have a lot of catching up to do this week!
