but not many drawings. I must change that! Here is the press box at the high school football field. If I had a nickel for every hour I have spent there! Lost patience with drawing bleachers.
Last night I walked 3.5 miles and worked in 1/2 mile of very slow jogging to try and raise my heart rate some.
Nice to have you back - I am approaching empty nest time too, except that increasingly often I have to go help out in my parents nest now - have you any plans?
ReplyDeleteNo empty nest for me for a long, long time. I'll probably have grandkids by the time my nest clears!
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce! Long time no hear. I've just gotten back into blogging lately after a 6 week hiatus. Nice to see you here !!
ReplyDeleteIf you are ever in Chi Town we can go for another drawing session...and a yummy lunch!
I love the concept of this blog, with the sketches especially. Wow!
ReplyDeletethese sketches are great, would love to see more. thanks for stopping by
ReplyDeleteJust a comment -- this is a pretty nifty concept for a blog, and you clearly have more sketching talent in your little finger than I have in my whole body. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteLove your sketchbook!
ReplyDeleteFirst Thanks for the note regarding my garden. When I read your "About me" I thought it sounded so close to mine. We love the same things. Now that I am at your site. I too so many hours in the bleachers and on the cross country field. My oldest was a nationally ranked runner. We went from fall cross country to track and field. Indoor and out. I guess it is a life of a MOM. I hope you do find more time to draw and enjoy yourself. Sounds like you deserve a little down time. Thanks again. Debra
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for welcoming me to blogland via Penny! Love your drawing and enjoyed visiting your blog! bleachers are so hard to draw!!!! Come visit me anytime!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Hugs,
Debi
