Everyday Matters Challenge #21 Draw Something Really Old

This is my drawing for this week's challenge. If I take my glasses off and put this up to my face, I can adjust the image until it is in focus for my eyes and view the neat 3-D effect. It did not come with any of the cards, but you can get them for a couple of dollars a piece...so we look for neat ones to buy for mom. There are cards of famous places, plays, stories, all kinds of things.

Wow, that looks so cool! I love old/antique things. I actually don't have anything older than me, How will I manage this challenge?!!

Shelly, maybe you could visit a friend's home...someone like my mom or me...who has lots of old stuff around!

This is a cool gizmo. :) It reminds me of the more modern one my little girl had as a child. I bought a lot of little film strips for that thing... mostly of Disney princesses... go figure! This drawing is so nicely done. I especially like the fringey linen item you drew underneath.

I've seen these! Never had one but I've seen them. Think your Mom probably got a really good deal on it. Very nice illustration, esp. like how you placed it on the doily. Those are difficult to draw well too and you did great.
